If we dont stop promoting violence in our music then the world will soon follow Guyanese decision... Just look at what is happening in Jamaica and the only thing our role model artistes can do is sing more violent gun tunes. We need more upliftment in the music industry...not Movado or Bounty telling the young youths to blow off people head with guns...BTW im a Jamaican and i support the Guyanese decision

wut if jamaica was to foolow suite and band guyanese artists or soca artistes etc... That is a load of bull crap..People dont kill people because of violence in music, there is violence in music because thats wut the artists see in the society and can relate to. Wut happened to freedom of speech...we need o support the music and stop fighting it...

First Off Shznick Plzz Do Tell Me Wat Guyanese Artist Music Pertains To Violence.....We Only Have4 Artist Which will Be Natural Blacks,Jomo,Adrian,And First Born.......If U Listen To Any Of There Songs It Has Nothing To Do With Violence Not Trying To Say Wat My Country Is Doing Is Right Cause I Do Find it Wrong But U Aint Go Sit There N Try To Discriminate Guyanese N Soca Artist........Cause My Country Didnt Discriminate Movado And Bounty Killer The Government Just Band Dem........N Like I Said Its Not Right But Nobody Cant Change It Its Already Done

thats what i am saying it aint right. and violence is not the only reason why songs are banned others include sexualt content or remark about govt etc. basically the govt given reggae a fight and we all need to step up and do sumthing. Remember the govt represent the people. i not discriminating i am just saying wut if i or ja was to we wouldnt feel right so we should defend it when its been done to reggae. you prove my point from your response
