Dancehall singer CHICO has several hot new recordings out. Alric and Boyd of ZIP 103FM in Jamaica have recorded Chico on their new Riddim GLADIATOR. Chico s song "DON'T ASK ME"is tantalizing over this upbeat slightly hip hop influenced track. "Don t Ask Me"is being serviced to Reggae DJs in the US this month along with several other new recordings.
Chico had a tremendous year in 2005 with his collaboration with French recording artist LORD KOSSITY and their collaboration "Hey Sexy Wow". Chico and Kossity have been in the studio again concocting their new release to unleash on the French massives for Kossity s new upcoming album. So far this year, Chico has been featured on several collaborations including Alozade s "Bad Out Deh"and "Screwface". Both of Alozade s songs feature Chico and Kiprich on the chorus. This is not the only collaboration with Alozade though, the two also got together for the song "Gangsta Game"on producer Birch s fast paced Gangsta Rock Riddim.
However, 2006 is far from being just about collaborations. CHICO recently teamed up with esteemed producer SALAAM REMI, responsible for hit records with Hip Hop artists ranging from The Fugees all the way to NAS, to record the song "You Live Good"on his new reggae Riddim project, the FRIENDLY Riddim.
CHICO has also gone into the studio with Black Shadow Records producer Troyton Rami for a new single on the BLINK Riddim. Chico s song "Gangsters"was also recently serviced along with the other Riddim tracks.
Chico s new recording "Stress Driven"from Black Chiney producer Supa Dups is also a melodic weapon. Chico rides the drum driven Riddim with expertise and adds depth with his unique singjay flow. Chico is busy in the studios with refreshed energy and some wicked singles that are in the process of the final touches.
